I am very excited to be able to take my oldest granddaughter Lindsay to Alaska this year to celebrate her graduation to middle school.  She has been so interested in Alaska since my first cruise with Lady Kay that she can't wait to be there.  She also refers to this as "It's All About Me" week.  I told her that since Debbie is the "All About Me" person and joining us on the cruise, she may have to share the spotlight.    We will be cruising on Holland America's Westerdam which is pictured above and our cabin is on the starboard side (for those non-cruisers it is the side you see) on the back diagonal so we have an oversize balcony.  It will be a fun time and we now have the cruise paid for and airline tickets to Seattle purchased so we are ready to go see the fish fly at Pike's Market in Seattle before starting our cruise!
